Hygienists talk to children about good dental care |
Description |
Mr. Tooth was not doing well. As dental hygienist Jeannie Schnakenberg talked to a group of children at the Greenwich Boys and Girls Club, Linda Conti, also a dental hygienist, did her best to make Mr. Tooth feel better. She rushed for two minutes, and just like that, Mr. Tooth - a giant plush version of a tooth - got rid of his plaque. The hygienists, who work for the Greenwich Department of Health, presented "The Whole Tooth and Nothing But the Tooth" in honor of National Children's Dental Health Month. The program included information on dental hygiene, what foods and drinks are healthy for teeth and what children can do to prevent cavaties |
