Opinion: Stopping the epidemic of bullying |
Description |
Denise Qualey, the managing director of Crisis & Clinical Services at Kids in Crisis writes: "This epidemic of bullying has taken a drastic rise in the last few years. With nearly one in five children experiencing bullying, and more than 160,000 children missing school every day because they are afraid of being harassed, this issue must be addressed. Children are hurting themselves over the pain other children are inflicting. Change will come when three groups simultaneously and cohesively address bullying: parents, schools, and children." |
